Tilman Singer's "Cuckoo" Trailer Unveiled

Amidst the recent wave of devilishly good horror titles captivating audiences, a new trailer has emerged to tantalize fans further. Neon recently unveiled the trailer for Tilman Singer's upcoming feature, "Cuckoo," promising an unforgettable cinematic experience.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the eerie world crafted by Singer, featuring a haunting visual of a young girl on a bike being pursued by a mysterious figure. This chilling imagery is sure to linger in the minds of viewers long after the trailer ends.

Originally scheduled for release earlier, "Cuckoo" has now been pushed back to hit theaters on August 9th, heightening anticipation for its arrival.

The film follows the story of 17-year-old Gretchen, portrayed by Euphoria's Hunter Schafer, who reluctantly leaves her American home to live with her father in a resort nestled in the German Alps. However, upon their arrival, they encounter Mr. König, her father's boss, who exhibits an inexplicable interest in Gretchen's mute half-sister Alma. As Gretchen delves deeper into the mysteries surrounding their new home, she is plagued by strange noises and bloody visions, leading her to uncover a shocking secret that threatens her family.

"Cuckoo" marks Singer's return following the success of his previous film, "Luz," and promises to deliver high-octane thrills with its female-led narrative shot on 35mm film. Alongside Schafer, the film features Jessica Henwick and the formidable Dan Stevens in terrifying roles.
