"A Violent Nature" 'Unrated' movie delivers over-the-top critic reactions and cool retro lobby cards

The highly anticipated slasher film "A Violent Nature," from Chris Nash and IFC Films, is set to hit theaters at the end of this month. During a recent screening at the Chicago Critics Film Fest, the film received insightful reactions, particularly regarding a memorable kill scene that left some audience members visibly affected, including reports of someone vomiting—an indicator of the genre's impact. Today, the studio released retro-inspired lobby cards featuring reactions to the film.

In "A Violent Nature," a locket is taken from a collapsed fire tower in the woods, containing the rotting corpse of Johnny—a vengeful spirit driven by a decades-old crime. Johnny's body is resurrected, and he relentlessly targets a group of vacationing teens responsible for the locket's theft, systematically slaughtering them in his quest to reclaim it, regardless of who stands in his way.

Look for "A Violent Nature" in theaters on May 31st, courtesy of IFC Films.
