One of the most compelling folk horror films you'll see this year is "Starve Acre," directed by Daniel Kokotajlo. Based on the book by Anthony Michael Hurley, it is a film filled with grief and despair, focusing on a family in mourning.

Travis had the opportunity to speak with Daniel about the incredible performances of Morfydd Clark and Matt Smith, as well as the intriguing lore surrounding "Starve Acre." The film follows a couple who move back to the family farm after the sudden death of their son. As they mourn, they distance themselves from each other, but folklore and legend eventually bring them back together in this atmospheric and eerie tale.

Enjoy the interview, recorded live at Vivid Core Media Studio, and many thanks to Daniel for his time.
