"1978" trailer release; World Premiere at Sitges

1978 makes world premiere at Sitges on October 4th

Last week, we shared a sneak peek of the Onetti Brothers' upcoming feature, "1978". The film is set during the World Cup final between Argentina and Holland, amidst a time of military unrest. It follows a group of young people who are kidnapped by torturers and taken to a detention center—though it soon becomes clear there’s more to their fate than meets the eye.

This week, Black Mandala released a new trailer for 1978, just in time for its world premiere at the Sitges Film Festival. The film will debut on October 4th at the prestigious festival in Spain. For American fans, 1978 will also be featured at Screamfest LA.

Black Mandala Films presents the official trailer of the new horror movie “1978”, directed by Luciano and Nicolás Onetti (“ABRAKADABRA”, “WHAT THE WATERS LEFT BEHIND”).

The World Premiere of “1978” will take place on October 4th at SITGES, the most important fantastic and horror film festival of the world.

The WIP of the film had its world premiere at Marché du Film (Cannes Film Festival) during the Blood Window Showcase.
