Agnez Mo has joined Nicolas Cage and Michael Sheen in C.L.A.Y., an upcoming psychological cyber-thriller from writer-director Simon Afram.

Mo, who recently appeared in the fourth season of Prime Video’s Reacher, joins an ensemble that also includes Jordi Mollà, Emilio Sakraya and Adrian Topol.

The film follows a socially isolated computer prodigy who finds a sense of purpose after becoming involved with C.L.A.Y., short for Clowns Laughing At You, an underground hacker collective whose digital activities begin producing consequences outside the online world.

As the collective becomes increasingly notorious, its members attract attention from intelligence agencies, criminal organizations and competing hackers.

Specific character details for Mo and the previously announced cast have not yet been disclosed.

C.L.A.Y. will mark Afram’s feature directorial debut. He previously wrote and produced the World War II espionage film Fortitude, directed by Simon West.

Mo has built an international career across music and acting and expanded her U.S. television work with Reacher. Afram described her addition to the cast as a fit for the film’s ensemble and international scope.

“Agnez is a true global artist with an audience that spans continents,” Afram said. “She is a captivating actress — fearless, intense and full of emotional depth. We are thrilled to welcome her to this extraordinary ensemble. She’s a perfect fit for the world of C.L.A.Y.”

Afram is writing, directing and producing the film.

Production is scheduled to begin on location in London in November 2026.

Afram will produce alongside Georgette Turner, Edward Kahl, Reza Roohi and Adrian Topol. Bianca Goodloe, David Scaramanga, Cüneyt Kaya and Daniel Haido serve as executive producers.

Rich Mento is handling casting, while Clay Pictures Ltd. serves as the production company of record.

The project brings together Cage, whose recent genre work includes Longlegs, with Sheen, Mollà, Sakraya, Topol and Mo for a story built around hacking, surveillance and the collision between digital activity and real-world threats.

Additional casting, character details and release plans for C.L.A.Y. have not yet been announced.
