BLEEDING Heads to VOD June 10 via Screambox
Our top indie horror pick from last year is finally finding a digital home—right alongside a certain iconic clown. BLEEDING, the drug-fueled vampire nightmare from writer/director Andrew Bell, lands on VOD and Screambox June 10th.
Equal parts vampire flick and raw small-town drama, BLEEDING is a blood-soaked descent into grief, corruption, and addiction. The film follows Eric, a 17-year-old struggling with the loss of his brother. When his cousin Sean—a reckless son of a burned-out cop—gets deep into a deadly underground market selling “Blood,” a vampire drug, Eric will do whatever it takes to keep him from vanishing the same way his brother did.
Out of options and deep in debt to a violent dealer, the cousins break into an abandoned home—only to discover a sleeping girl locked inside. What starts as a potential escape quickly spirals into something darker: a link to the past, a horrifying revelation, and a bond tested by blood and betrayal.
“We wanted to tell you a story about vampires, but show that the real monsters were there all along—preying on the young, feeding off the people that trusted them most.”
— Andrew Bell, Writer/Director
BLEEDING is written, directed, and edited by Andrew Bell, produced by Nicholas Payne Santos, Bofan Zhang, and Kenneth Green. Cinematography is by Daniel Cho with an original score by Alex Symcox. The film is a joint production between 88/90 and Rare Books.
Make sure to check it out when it hits Screambox and other platforms on June 10. This one sinks its teeth in and doesn’t let go.
