Just in time for the highly anticipated release of Ballerina, new behind-the-scenes footage gives fans a first look at Ana de Armas training alongside Keanu Reeves for one of the film’s most complex action sequences. Set within the world of John Wick, Ballerina is shaping up to be a bold, explosive chapter—and de Armas looks more than ready for the spotlight.

In the footage, de Armas throws herself into the franchise’s signature choreography with fierce precision, proving she’s not just stepping into the Wick universe—she’s owning it. From the way she moves to her intensity on set, it’s clear a new action star has officially arrived.

“There was a kind of fire in Ana that I wanted to meet and work with,” said director Len Wiseman. “At the onset, I told Ana that since Eve is just beginning her journey as an assassin, the character is going to, at times, get her ass kicked. Ana’s reply was, ‘Cool. Okay, I’m in.’ During production, she’d show me her bruises from the action and stunts, and they became like merit badges.”

Wiseman also praised her commitment to performing her own stunts: “She’s perfect for the role in many ways. What I love about this franchise is that it’s actor-based action—we see the actors doing more of their own performance and choreography. And Ana was completely game for that.”
