Paramount Pictures has released a new featurette, Behind the Action, offering a first look at the stunt work in Edgar Wright’s upcoming adaptation of The Running Man. The video highlights Glen Powell stepping into the role of Ben Richards, a working-class father who risks everything inside the world’s most dangerous game show.

Set in a near-future society where survival is televised, The Running Man follows Richards as he enters a deadly 30-day competition where contestants—known as Runners—are hunted by professional assassins for the entertainment of a bloodthirsty public. Driven by the need to save his sick daughter, Richards quickly becomes both a fan favorite and a threat to the system, drawing the ire of the show’s charismatic but ruthless producer, Dan Killian (Josh Brolin).

The film features Powell alongside William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Daniel Ezra, Jayme Lawson, Colman Domingo, and Brolin. The screenplay was penned by Michael Bacall and Wright, based on Stephen King’s novel, with production from Simon Kinberg, Nira Park, and Wright.
