Billy Zane Leads Quiver Distribution’s Deadly Vows — A Gripping Thriller of Love, Control, and Survival

Billy Zane headlines Deadly Vows, a psychological thriller about love, control, and the will to survive.

Billy Zane has been busy — and his next act promises to be one of his most chilling yet. Quiver Distribution has unveiled the official trailer for Deadly Vows ahead of its November 14, 2025 release, marking another high-stakes thriller in the actor’s recent slate of dark, character-driven roles.

Directed by Jared Cohn and co-directed by Bella Bahar Danesh, Deadly Vows also stars Peter Facinelli (Twilight, Nurse Jackie), Shohreh Aghdashloo (The Expanse, House of Sand and Fog), Shane West (A Walk to Remember), and Shiva Negar (American Assassin, Seal Team).

Inspired by true events, the film follows Darya (Negar), a woman who flees the Iran-Iraq war only to find herself ensnared in a deadly relationship in Los Angeles. When her charming new husband (Facinelli) reveals his violent nature, Darya’s quest for freedom turns into a harrowing fight for survival — and as Billy Zane’s character closes in, her escape becomes a race against time and fate.

“Deadly Vows is a story about resilience, empowerment, and the will to survive,” said co-director Bella Bahar Danesh. “It’s a gripping thriller that highlights the fight against domestic violence and the human spirit’s capacity for healing and forgiveness.”

Produced by Bella Bahar Danesh, Luna Zhang, and Daemon Hillin, the film’s acquisition was negotiated by Larry Greenberg on behalf of Quiver and Michael Curylo for the filmmakers.

Zane, who’s been on a creative tear lately, continues to thrive in the genre space — and Deadly Vows looks like another standout addition to his growing filmography of complex, morally blurred characters.

Audiences can expect an emotional, intense, and timely thriller when Deadly Vows hits theaters on November 14, 2025.
