Booger (Dark Sky Films)
On September 13th, the indie body horror film "Booger" will hit select theaters across the country. This wild feature debut from writer/director Mary Dauterman centers on a woman named Anna (played by Grace Glowicki) who, after being bitten by a cat, begins a disturbing transformation into a feline.

The story follows New Yorker Anna, who is grappling with the sudden death of her best friend and roommate, Izzy. While dealing with her grief, Anna loses Izzy's cat, Booger. In her desperate search to find the cat, she is bitten and soon starts to develop strange feline traits, causing chaos in her work life and relationship with her boyfriend.

BOOGER, the acclaimed debut feature from writer-director Mary Dauterman, opens in select US theaters and arrives on VOD on Friday, September 13 from Dark Sky Films.
Featuring a widely praised performance by Grace Glowicki (TITO, STRAWBERRY MANSION), BOOGER is a one-of-a-kind film blending body horror with comedy in a story of intense female friendship and its tragic loss, all backgrounded by a tale of supernatural transformation.
The film also stars Garrick Bernard (Single Drunk Female), Marcia DeBonis (SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT DYING, 13 GOING ON 30), David Rysdahl (OPPENHEIMER, Fargo), and indie cult icon Heather Matarazzo (WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE, SCREAM 3).
