Occult Horror Harbinger Unveils First Trailer Ahead of August Digital Release
A cursed fortune-telling machine becomes the center of a new supernatural nightmare in the first trailer for Harbinger, an upcoming British occult horror arriving on digital this August from Miracle Media and Shogun Films.
Directed in the tradition of classic British horror, Harbinger blends supernatural terror, serial killer mythology, and old-school practical gore into a story where the past refuses to stay buried.

The film stars Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott (Helloween), Gary Webster (Minder), Peter Woodward (Babylon 5), Carole Ann Ford (Doctor Who), Tony Sands (Moondial), Johnny Palmiero (We Still Kill the Old Way), and Nick Nevern (Rise of the Footsoldier).
Five years after surviving the murderous rampage of satanic serial killer Henry Decker, Julia is still struggling with PTSD and recurring visions of the man who nearly took her life. Living back at home with her mother and trying to rebuild her future, she accepts an invitation from paranormal television host Mike Craggs to revisit the infamous house where Decker’s reign of terror ended.
What begins as the filming of a paranormal investigation quickly turns into another nightmare.
Inside the abandoned home, Julia and the television crew discover the Harbinger, a sinister fortune-telling machine that predicts the gruesome deaths awaiting each member of the group. As people begin dying one by one, Julia learns that Henry Decker’s soul has transferred into the machine itself.
Unable to leave the property, the survivors race to stop the Harbinger before it claims six souls, allowing the killer to return to the living world once again.
The newly released trailer leans heavily into classic occult horror aesthetics, mixing haunted house suspense with supernatural mythology and a mysterious carnival attraction that becomes the film’s central threat. The footage also teases practical gore effects, creature work, and escalating supernatural violence as the Harbinger’s predictions begin coming true.
Miracle Media describes the film as drawing inspiration from genre favorites such as Wishmaster while embracing the atmosphere of traditional Hammer-style horror. The result is a supernatural thriller built around curses, possession, and an original villain that transforms a familiar fortune-telling machine into the film’s primary source of terror.
