Trailer Drops for Corporate Retreat, a Brutal Survival Horror Satire Set in the Boardroom
A new horror title is taking aim at corporate culture as the official trailer for Corporate Retreat arrives, previewing a high-stakes survival story where ambition turns deadly.
Written and directed by Aaron Fisher, Corporate Retreat follows a group of tech executives who gather at a remote desert estate for what’s supposed to be a luxury team-building weekend. Instead, the retreat spirals into a controlled nightmare, as participants are forced into a survival game where strategy, loyalty, and morality quickly collapse.
The film blends survival horror with dark satire, using its setup to critique the competitive, often dehumanizing dynamics of modern corporate environments. As the stakes escalate, office politics give way to instinct, turning colleagues into adversaries.
The ensemble cast includes Alan Ruck, Rosanna Arquette, Odeya Rush, Ashton Sanders, Sasha Lane, Benjamin Norris, Elias Kacavas, Zión Moreno, Tyler Alvarez, Ellen Toland, and Kirby Johnson.
The trailer leans into both tension and tone, showcasing moments of escalating violence alongside sharp, satirical edges that highlight the absurdity of corporate hierarchies when stripped of structure. The desert setting adds an additional layer of isolation, reinforcing the film’s focus on survival and psychological breakdown.
Co-written by Kerri Lee Romeo, the film positions itself within a growing space of genre films that use horror frameworks to examine real-world systems and pressures.
With its mix of ensemble-driven conflict, survival mechanics, and thematic commentary, Corporate Retreat sets up a narrative where success—and survival—are determined by how far individuals are willing to go.
Look for it in theater May 22nd.
