SEX, BLOOD, AND CONTROL COLLIDE IN CASSIE KEET’S ABIGAIL BEFORE BEATRICE, PREMIERING AT BENTONVILLE AND CHATTANOOGA

The sexually charged psychological thriller Abigail Before Beatrice from director Cassie Keet is ready to provoke, unsettle, and seduce audiences as it heads to both the Bentonville Film Festival and Chattanooga Film Festival.

Starring Olivia Taylor Dudley (The Magicians, Touch Me) as a woman whose quiet life is upended by the release of her former cult leader, the film pulses with deceit, obsession, and dangerous intimacy. When her ex-sister-in-devotion (Riley Dandy, Christmas Bloody Christmas) resurfaces, tensions spiral—inside the bedroom and beyond—and blood isn’t far behind.

Abigail Before Beatrice makes its World Premiere June 19 at the Bentonville Film Festival, followed by a virtual run at Chattanooga Film Festival from June 20–28. The film also stars Shayn Herndon, Jordan Lane Shappell, and Molly Jackson.

The official trailer teases a volatile blend of lust, manipulation, and psychological breakdown—mark your calendars and brace yourself.

Synopsis:

An isolated woman is confronted by her past when a fellow former cult member arrives with news: their leader has been released from prison early. As buried trauma resurfaces and desire collides with control, Abigail Before Beatrice asks—how do you move on when you can’t let go?
