Night City is calling once again.

Netflix and animation powerhouse Studio TRIGGER have released the first teaser for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, offering fans a brutal glimpse at the next standalone chapter set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.

If the first footage is any indication, audiences should prepare for another violent, stylish, and emotionally charged ride through one of science fiction's most dangerous cities.

The teaser is packed with explosive action, chaotic gunfights, blood-soaked confrontations, and the neon-drenched atmosphere that helped make the original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners such a breakout success. At the same time, the footage maintains that retro-futuristic aesthetic that has become synonymous with the franchise, blending old-school influences with cutting-edge technology and dystopian excess.

Netflix also released new images from the upcoming series alongside the teaser.

Unlike the first season, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will tell a completely new standalone story consisting of 10 episodes.

According to the official synopsis:

"Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 presents a new standalone 10-episode story from the world of Cyberpunk 2077. A raw chronicle of redemption and revenge. In a city that thrives in the spotlight of violence, one question remains: when the world is blinded by spectacle, what extremes do you have to go to make your story matter?"

Returning to guide the project is showrunner Bartosz Sztybor, while acclaimed animation studio TRIGGER once again handles production duties.

The original Cyberpunk: Edgerunners became one of Netflix's biggest anime successes, earning widespread praise for its storytelling, animation, emotional weight, and ability to expand the world established by CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077.

Based on the new footage, the sequel appears ready to embrace everything fans loved about the first series while charting its own path with an entirely new cast of characters and storylines.
