Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die

Unleashes Final Cast Poster Ahead of Friday the 13th Theatrical Release

One last look before the clock runs out.

With its theatrical release landing next Friday, February 13, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die has revealed its final cast poster, spotlighting the film’s stacked ensemble and cementing its status as one of the most anticipated sci-fi thrill rides of the year.

We caught the film at Fantastic Fest, and this is very much the kind of high-concept, darkly playful genre swing that thrives in a packed theater.

Directed by Gore Verbinski, Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die unfolds over a single night inside a crowded diner. A man wielding a detonator storms in, claiming he’s from the future. This is the 117th time he’s returned with the same warning. Before time resets again, he must recruit a group of wildly unqualified strangers to help stop an impending AI apocalypse.

That reluctant group includes Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Peña, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chaudhry, and Juno Temple, with Sam Rockwell anchoring the chaos. Skeptical diners, algorithm-poisoned teens, and digital monstrosities all stand in the way—along with the possibility that none of this is fixable at all.

Written by Matthew Robinson, the film leans hard into anxiety about social media, AI, and modern attention rot, filtering those fears through Verbinski’s unmistakable genre instincts. It’s funny, tense, abrasive in spots, and unafraid to let the premise spiral.

The final poster leans into that energy—less apocalypse spectacle, more ensemble pressure cooker—putting the cast front and center as the clock ticks toward another reset.
