Coming soon to on-demand is "Founder's Day," the satirical political slasher from Dark Sky Films by Erik and Carson Bloomquist. Set in a small town rattled by a string of ominous murders just before a contentious mayoral election, the film promises a thrilling ride. After a successful festival circuit and a recent theatrical release, Dark Sky is gearing up to launch the movie on VOD on May 7th.
In this darkly comedic thriller, the Bloomquist Brothers paint a picture of a town gripped by fear as mysterious killings cast a shadow over the impending election. With tensions running high and suspicion lurking around every corner, the clock ticks as the residents race to uncover the truth before paranoia engulfs their community.
Fresh from its nationwide theatrical run, "Founder's Day" has garnered praise from both audiences and critics alike. Directed and written by Erik & Carson Bloomquist and produced by Mainframe Pictures, the film features a stellar ensemble cast. Among them are Devin Druid and Amy Hargreaves from "13 Reasons Why," along with Naomi Grace, Catherine Curtin, Emilia McCarthy, Olivia Nikkanen, and William Russ.
