Good Boy Trailer Unleashes Terror Through a Dog’s Eyes

Indy the dog faces a supernatural evil in IFC and Shudder’s Good Boy.

The long-awaited trailer for Good Boy from IFC and Shudder has finally arrived—and it’s one you won’t forget. Told through the eyes of Indy, a loyal dog desperate to save himself and his owner Todd from a sinister force, the film twists canine devotion into pure terror. Already being called one of the standout horror films of 2025, Good Boy opens in U.S. theaters on October 3rd, with a UK release following on October 10th.

Indy’s journey takes him from city streets to a long-abandoned family home in the country, where his sharp instincts immediately sense something is wrong. Empty corners hide unseen threats, spectral warnings echo from a long-dead dog, and horrific visions of past violence plague the house. As Todd begins to fall under the grip of a malevolent presence, Indy must fight against a darkness determined to claim his best friend’s soul.
