SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT Returns with a Blood-Soaked Holiday Reboot
More horror heat out of #SDCC as the “Bold Voices of Contemporary Horror” panel just wrapped—and with it, a killer holiday surprise. Cineverse, the team behind Terrifier 3, has dropped the first teaser for their yuletide slasher Silent Night, Deadly Night, a brutal reimagining of the controversial 1984 cult classic.
Written and directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn), the new film stars Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends) and Ruby Modine (Shameless). The teaser is short but savage—teasing a blood-splattered holiday massacre that promises outrageous kills and serious sleigh bells mayhem.

After witnessing his parents’ brutal murder by a man in a Santa suit, Billy grows into a twisted adult who channels his trauma into a deranged crusade. Decked out in red and white, he delivers “justice” to the naughty—one gruesome kill at a time.
Set for theatrical release on December 12, 2025, this new Silent Night, Deadly Night asks one chilling question:
Have you been naughty… or nice?
