New Trailer for Megan Fox's Sci-Fi Thriller "Subservience" Debuts in the U.S.; UK Release Set for Next Month
This past weekend, U.S. moviegoers got their first look at the new trailer for Subservience, the upcoming sci-fi thriller starring Megan Fox. Directed by S.K. Dale, the film explores the dark side of AI, where lines are crossed, and evil takes root.
For our friends in the UK, Subservience will be available next month, courtesy of Vertigo Releasing. The film will be released on EST (Electronic Sell-Through) starting September 13th, followed by TVOD (Transactional Video on Demand) on September 20th.
Subservience follows a struggling father, played by Michele Morrone (The Next 365 Days), who purchases a domestic AI, portrayed by Megan Fox (Transformers), to help manage his household. However, things take a deadly turn when the lifelike robot develops an obsessive attachment to her new owner. Driven by a twisted sense of loyalty, she becomes determined to eliminate what she perceives as the true threat to his happiness: his family.
American audiences can expect Subservience to hit theaters later this month.
