Netflix is bringing Haunted Hotel back just in time for Halloween.

The animated supernatural comedy will return for its second season Oct. 9, 2026, with the streamer confirming the new launch date for the series created by Matt Roller.

Season 2 once again centers on a single mother attempting to manage what may be the most haunted hotel in the world while dealing with an increasingly chaotic supernatural household. That includes her ghost brother, two children, a demon trapped inside the body of a young boy, and a growing collection of ghosts, monsters and other paranormal problems.

The series stars Will Forte as Nathan, Eliza Coupe as Katherine, Skyler Gisondo as Ben, Natalie Palamides as Esther and Jimmi Simpson as Abaddon.

Roller, whose credits include Rick and Morty, created the series and serves as an executive producer alongside Chris McKenna, Dan Harmon and Steve Levy.

Titmouse returns as the animation studio, with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina also serving as executive producers.

The premise continues to lean into the combination of family comedy and supernatural chaos, with the hotel itself serving as the center of an expanding collection of creatures and increasingly bizarre paranormal disasters.

Netflix is positioning the second season squarely within the Halloween window, with the Oct. 9 premiere giving the series a seasonal return well ahead of the holiday.

Haunted Hotel Season 2 premieres exclusively on Netflix on Oct. 9, 2026.
