Cineverse Sets Digital Release for London Thriller Odyssey Following Festival Run
A grounded crime thriller with festival momentum is heading to digital platforms as Cineverse announces Odyssey will debut On Demand and Digital April 28, 2026.
Directed by Gerard Johnson (Hyena, Tony) and written by Austin Collings, Odyssey follows Natasha Flynn, a real estate agent navigating London’s high-stakes property market. Her success, built on borrowed money and calculated risk, begins to unravel when her debts are called in.
What starts as financial pressure escalates into something more dangerous.
Forced into a criminal arrangement, Natasha becomes entangled in London’s underworld, where the line between professional ambition and survival begins to blur. As the situation intensifies, she turns to a volatile former associate, further complicating her path forward.
The cast includes Polly Maberly, Mikael Persbrandt, Guy Burnet, Jasmine Blackborow, Daniel De Bourg, Peter Ferdinando, Kellie Shirley, and Sarah Beck Mather.
Odyssey built early attention through its festival run, screening at SXSW Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, and FrightFest, among others. The film positions itself within a character-driven thriller framework, focusing on economic pressure, risk, and the consequences of navigating unstable systems.
Rather than leaning into traditional action beats, Odyssey centers on escalation—how quickly control can shift when debt, power, and survival intersect.
The film will be available across digital platforms beginning April 28.
