Brainstorm Media has unveiled the official trailer and poster for Stockholm Bloodbath, an epic historical drama inspired by one of Scandinavia’s bloodiest events. Directed by Oscar-nominated Mikael Håfström (Evil, 1408) and featuring a stellar international cast, the film promises an action-packed blend of adventure and dark comedy.

Stockholm Bloodbath stars Sophie Cookson (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Claes Bang (The Northman), and Alba August (Netflix’s The Rain), and follows the story of two sisters seeking revenge against the men responsible for brutally murdering their family. Set against the backdrop of a violent political struggle between Sweden and Denmark, the film showcases the tyrannical reign of King Christian II.
