Brainstorm Media today revealed the official poster and confirmed the theatrical release date for Uta Briesewitz’s gripping thriller American Sweatshop, starring Lili Reinhart as Daisy Moriarty. Following its SXSW premiere earlier this year, the film is set to hit theaters on September 19.

In American Sweatshop, Daisy Moriarty, a dedicated social media content moderator, encounters a horrific video depicting a violent crime. Convinced it’s real, she leaves the safety of her screen and ventures into the real world to uncover the truth. As she chases the case, Daisy descends into obsession—and danger—in this dark, psychological mystery  .

Reinhart’s compelling performance anchors the narrative, capturing Daisy’s growing paranoia and trauma as she unearths the toll of her digital frontline role   . The film is directed by Briesewitz (her feature debut) and written by Matthew Nemeth. It also stars Daniela Melchior, Joel Fry, and Christiane Paul  .
