This Place May Not Be Right for You – NEON Drops New Teaser for Osgood Perkins’ Keeper
By HMU Staff
There’s something unsettling in the air—and we’re not just talking about the shrill, curling screams echoing through Osgood Perkins’ latest teaser for Keeper. NEON just dropped another cryptic look at the film, and if it wasn’t already on your radar, it should be now.
Set against a hauntingly romantic soundscape that feels more like a siren’s song than a traditional horror cue, the teaser offers glimpses of the film’s powerhouse ensemble of women—each seemingly entangled in a twisted web with the same man… or something far more dangerous. Rossif Sutherland plays Malcolm, the central figure in this strange orbit, but whether he’s the victim, the puppet master, or the offering, we still don’t know.
The cast is stacked, and the visual language already screams “Perkins,” leaning into the slow-burn, dread-soaked atmosphere we’ve come to expect from the Blackcoat’s Daughter and Gretel & Hansel director. But Keeper may be his most enigmatic project yet. Is it a cult? A love story? A supernatural descent into hell? Maybe all of the above.
One thing is clear—these women might be the ones bringing the chaos. Or maybe they’ve been caught in it all along.
Either way, it’s working. We’re locked in.
Let us know what you think is going on after watching the teaser. Who’s the predator and who’s the prey in Keeper? Drop your theories and stay tuned—we’ll be keeping a close eye as more details emerge.
