Back in the Building | Pete Davidson, James DeMonaco, and the Cast Celebrate the NY Premiere of THE HOME
Last night in NYC, the cast and crew of THE HOME—the latest horror thriller from The Purge creator James DeMonaco—took over the Big Apple for a star-studded premiere, just ahead of the film’s theatrical release this Friday, July 25 from Roadside Attractions.
Held in Manhattan, the screening brought out executive producer and lead star Pete Davidson, alongside director/co-writer James DeMonaco, and a packed ensemble of familiar faces: John Glover, Bruce Altman, Marilee Talkington, Mugga, Nathalie Schmidt, Victor Williams, and more. Also in the building were writer Adam Cantor, producer Sébastien K. Lemercier, music supervisor Nathan Whitehead, and several key department heads across hair, makeup, and prosthetics—including Joshua Turi and Louie Zakarian, ensuring this creepy tale looked just right.

About the Film:
In THE HOME, Pete Davidson stars as a troubled young man sentenced to community service at a retirement facility that hides more than just shuffleboard and sponge baths. When he’s warned to stay away from the mysterious fourth floor, curiosity takes over—and what he finds may change him forever.
A sinister blend of slow-burn paranoia and grotesque secrets, THE HOME promises a different flavor of summer horror that taps into generational guilt, institutional rot, and the real fear of being forgotten.
From the mind of DeMonaco and with a haunting score from Nathan Whitehead, this one’s got the Purge pedigree with a whole new flavor of dread.

THE HOME hits theaters nationwide July 25, 2025 via Roadside Attractions.
