Los Angeles played host to a packed house on September 29th as Shelby Oaks held its Los Angeles premiere at the historic Egyptian Theatre in partnership with Beyond Fest.
Writer-director Chris Stuckmann was joined by members of his ensemble cast, including Camille Sullivan, Sarah Durn, Derek Mears, Emily Bennett, Michael Beach, Charlie Talbert, Anthony Baldasare, and Eric Francis Melaragni. Additional guests spotted on the carpet included Rico Rodriguez and Raini Rodriguez.
Produced by Aaron B. Koontz, Ashleigh Snead, and Cameron Burns, with Mike Flanagan serving as executive producer, Shelby Oaks brings Stuckmann’s vision to life with a formidable cast that also features Robin Bartlett, Keith David, and Brendan Sexton III.

The film follows a woman’s desperate search for her long-lost sister, which spirals into obsession as she begins to suspect that the imaginary demon from their childhood may have been real. With its blend of psychological tension and supernatural dread, Shelby Oaks has been one of the year’s most anticipated independent horror releases.
The Los Angeles premiere marked another highlight in the film’s rollout, as Shelby Oaks continues its festival run as part of Beyond Fest 2025.
