Just in time for the holiday horror season, Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse have dropped the official trailer and poster for SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT, a twisted reimagining of the infamous slasher classic.

Written and directed by Mike P. Nelson (Wrong Turn), the film stars Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends) and Ruby Modine (Shameless), along with Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson.

This reimagined take brings new layers to the legend of Billy — the traumatized boy who witnessed his parents’ brutal murder on Christmas Eve and grew into the blood-soaked figure known as Killer Santa. But this time, Billy’s rampage collides with something he never expected: love. When a young woman forces him to confront his past, the line between redemption and ruin turns razor thin.

The Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise has long held a cult status for its unflinching mix of sleaze and seasonal terror. Nelson’s version looks set to honor that spirit while carving out something darker and more emotional — a holiday slasher with a pulse.

Early reactions from the Fantastic Fest 2025 secret screening called it “brutal, stylish, and surprisingly heartfelt,” with standout performances and the kind of brutal set pieces that keep the series’ legacy alive.
