SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT Drops New Clip — Ruby Modine Steps Into Final Girl Territory
Ho-ho-homicide season is officially here. Synverse has released a bloody new uncensored clip and sharp new key art for Silent Night, Deadly Night, arriving in theaters December 12 — and it puts star Ruby Modine front and center as Pamela, the fearless final girl leading this twisted reimagining.
This new take on the notorious 1984 cult shocker pushes the mythology into sharper, colder territory. After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents on Christmas Eve, Billy has spent years transforming into a relentless Killer Santa — a silent, stalking demon of yuletide vengeance who returns each December for another carefully orchestrated spree. But this year, his blood-soaked path hits a complication: love. Pamela (Modine) forces Billy to confront something far more dangerous than a gun-toting mall Santa — his own humanity.
For those craving what we affectionately call PamelaCore, Modine shines in the new clip as a razor-edged co-lead built to survive the sleigh ride from hell. It’s a fierce, grounded performance with just enough bite to make you forget every timid holiday heroine of the past.
The film, written and directed by Mike P. Nelson, stars Rohan Campbell as Billy, alongside Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson. And while Fantastic Fest attendees were lucky enough to catch an early secret screening, the rest of the world is finally getting a taste of the carnage to come.
If the clip is any indication, this is shaping up to be the holiday horror event of the year — mean, stylish, and soaked in Christmas red. Consider it the perfect antidote to saccharine holiday programming.
