"SISU" movie review

In "SISU," the latest action film from the team behind "John Wick," fans of brutal action and WWII period pieces will be thoroughly entertained. The movie follows a Finnish prospector who crosses paths with a group of Nazis, who foolishly attempt to take his possessions from him. What follows is an explosive and hilarious series of events that will satisfy action fans.

One of the standout features of "SISU" is the storybook-styled narrative, which adds an extra layer of charm and humor to the film. The inclusion of fierce women's rebellion is also a welcome addition to the movie. However, the film does suffer from a few forgettable moments, which detract from the overall impact of the story.

Jorma Tommila delivers an impressive performance as the unlikely hero, a former Finnish war commando with a talent for death. With the right marketing and multiple films, he could become a popular character in his own right. But even without that, "SiSU" is a great popcorn flick that action fans will thoroughly enjoy.

While the movie is not ground-breaking, it is a solid standalone action film worth watching. Overall, "SISU" receives a 3/5 star rating from HMUNCUT. If you're looking for a wild and entertaining action film, "SISU" is definitely worth seeing.

Directed and written by Jalmari Helander, "SISU" features a talented cast including Aksel Hennie, Jack Doolan, Mimosa Willamo, and Onni Tommila.
