Things get wonderfully strange in the latest clip from Guy Maddin, Evan Johnson, and Galen Johnson's Rumours. Bleecker Street released a new teaser featuring Cate Blanchett and Roy Dupuis in a mysterious conversation set deep in the dark, quirky woods. Why has she followed him there? What does this have to do with the G7 summit or the unfolding mysteries? Rumours has already sold out its Beyond Fest screening on October 5th, so stay tuned for more updates!

"Rumours" bounces between comedy, apocalyptic horror, and soap opera melodrama. It follows the seven leaders of the world's wealthiest democracies as they gather for the annual G7 summit. Their goal? To draft a statement on a looming global crisis. What follows is an uproarious series of events, driven by a brilliant ensemble cast featuring Cate Blanchett, Alicia Vikander, and Charles Dance. As these so-called leaders grapple with increasingly surreal challenges in the misty woods, they quickly become spectacles of incompetence. As night falls, they realize they're completely alone.
