Welcome to the Hunt: Primal Games Unleashes May 6 on Digital
If you’re looking for groundbreaking effects, Primal Games might not be your next obsession. But if you love funky, CGI-filled action horror shoot ’em ups packed with sweaty brawls and over-the-top carnage, this one has your name all over it.
From writer/director David Ryan Keith (The Redwood Massacre, I Am Rage), Primal Games is pure, unfiltered survival madness. The story follows a newlywed couple who see their honeymoon turn into an all-out bloodbath after they’re captured and forced into a sadistic survival game — staged for the world’s rich and ruthless thrill-seekers. Outnumbered, outgunned, and totally in the dark, they’ll have to fight tooth and nail just to survive long enough to uncover the real horror behind the so-called “game.”

Produced by the team behind Army of One, and starring Hannaj Bang Bendz, John Love, and Gary Kasper, Primal Games leans hard into brutal fight scenes, cheesy but charming visual effects, and nonstop chaos. You’ll get martial arts mayhem, ridiculous one-liners, gnarly survival set pieces, and a pounding original score from Drew Denton, marking his third collaboration with Keith.
Uncork’d Entertainment officially brings the mayhem home May 6, 2025, on Digital and On Demand.
In true indie grindhouse style, Primal Games was shot in just 18 brutal days, with practical stunts, wild energy, and plenty of sweaty survivalist flair. While it’s definitely not reinventing the action-horror wheel, it’s exactly the kind of guilty pleasure you queue up when you just want to see some poor souls beat the system—or die trying.
If you vibe with late-night cable sci-fi flicks, Primal Games will feel like a lost relic from your teenage fever dreams. Gear up, fire up your streaming service, and dive headfirst into the madness.

I hope you continue to produce excellent stuff for the community. I'd like to introduce you to a recently discovered gaming category granny.
