In anticipation of its world premiere this weekend at SXSW, Amazon and MGM Studios have unveiled a new poster for The Accountant 2, the highly anticipated thriller starring Ben Affleck and directed by Gavin O’Connor. While the film is set for a global theatrical release on April 25th, SXSW attendees will get an exclusive first look at a newly created immersive experience inspired by the film.
The Accountant 2 SXSW activation will transport fans directly into the world of Christian Wolff. The experience kicks off with Wolff’s signature Airstream, leading attendees into an interactive indoor tent featuring photo ops, a paintball shooting range for creating unique art pieces, larger-than-life puzzles, and even live music with line-dancing.
The sequel follows Christian Wolff (Affleck), a mathematical genius with a talent for solving high-stakes problems. When an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message—“find the accountant”—Wolff is drawn into a deadly conspiracy. Realizing extreme measures are needed, he turns to his estranged but equally lethal brother, Brax (Jon Bernthal), for help. Teaming up with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a ruthless network of killers determined to keep their secrets buried.
