Hall H Goes the Distance: New Trailer for The Long Walk Drops at SDCC
We’ve finally got some blood-pumping news from San Diego Comic-Con’s legendary Hall H. Lionsgate just unveiled the official trailer for The Long Walk, the highly anticipated adaptation of Stephen King’s harrowing novel—one that predates even Carrie. In this deadly competition, a group of young men embark on a grueling journey where there’s only one rule: keep walking or die.
The Long Walk marches into theaters September 12, 2025.

The trailer made its world premiere during the panel, joined by stars David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, and the iconic Mark Hamill. Also in attendance were producer Roy Lee and screenwriter JT Mollner, all of whom teased a tense, emotional adaptation that stays faithful to the King source material while pushing cinematic boundaries.
