One of our favorite true-crime thrillers from the festival circuit is finally getting its due overseas.
Warren Skeels’ slow-burn suburban nightmare, The Man In The White Van, is officially hitting Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD in the UK on September 29th, courtesy of Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment. The film—which quietly made waves during its U.S. festival run—boasts a cast stacked with genre and nostalgia heavyweights, including Sean Astin, Ali Larter, and Madison Wolfe.
Set in 1974 Florida, this tense thriller pulls from actual events and local folklore, centering on a young girl’s chilling brush with a suspected serial predator. Wolfe stars as Annie Williams, a sharp and imaginative teen whose Halloween spirals into a night of dread when a white van begins appearing outside her home—and no one believes her. What follows is a gripping descent into the kind of fear only someone being watched can understand.

Known for his work on Siesta Key, director Warren Skeels makes a confident leap into thriller territory, capturing the eerie stillness of 70s Americana and the paranoia of being hunted when your truth is dismissed.
Kaleidoscope’s release gives UK audiences a shot to finally witness this under-the-radar gem. The film is a reminder that true horror often lives in the ordinary—like a nondescript vehicle parked just a little too long on your block.
The Man In The White Van arrives September 29 on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital in the UK.
