Today, Uncork'd Entertainment announced the release of the gothic supernatural thriller "The Well", starring Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2 & 3). An official selection from Sitges 2023, the film by Federico Zampaglione will finally debut this fall.
The story follows a young American art restorer who travels to a remote Italian village on behalf of her father to restore a medieval painting. There, she meets a beautiful but aging duchess and her troubled young daughter, who warns her that the painting is cursed. She must leave before falling prey to an evil witch who drinks the blood of tourists to achieve eternal life.
Uncork'd Entertainment will release The Well in limited theaters on August 9th, followed by an on-demand release on September 3rd.

Starring the final girl from Terrifier 2 & 3 - Lauren LaVera - THE WELL is a gothic horror that embraces gore and practical effects. THE WELL was directed by Italian pop star Federico Zampaglione (Shadow, Tulpa: Demon of Desire, Morrison), who co-wrote the script with Stefano Masi.
