Among them, dark comedies like "The Shallow Tale of A Writer Who Decided to Write About A Serial Killer" pique interest, while horror aficionados eagerly await offerings such as Thordur Palsson's "The Damned". Described on Tribeca's website as a gripping tale of survival and guilt, "The Damned" follows Eva, faced with a fateful decision when a ship sinks near her isolated fishing post. Directed by Thordur Palsson and written by Jamie Hannigan, the film stars Odessa Young and Joe Cole.
