CURIA, a new streaming platform featuring fresh, monthly curated collections of films and award-winning short films, plus film festival highlights.
Founded by Film and Broadway producer Edward Walson, CURIA helps movie lovers stop searching and start watching great movies by providing viewers with new, specially curated collections of feature and short films each month that are organized for making faster, more informed viewing decisions. CURIA plans to be a fixture in the film festival circuit with a healthy appetite for new acquisitions, dedicating a constant collection called “The Circuit" to festival films. The “Short Stories” collection houses CURIA's ever-growing collection of shorts that are usually only seen at festivals. Other collections will rotate on a monthly basis, which allows a high level of quality and curation and eliminates the need to search. CURIA puts the viewer's mood and enjoyment at the center of the curation process, making for a fun, intuitive solution to the age-old question, “what should I watch?”
Check out the sizzle reel below for CURIA’S September collection highlights and more details on the current collections, and please let us know if you would like more information as we prepare to officially kick off our big PR campaign with the October collection announce, including interview opportunities with with the team behind acquisitions in programming - Garrett Weaver (formerly Director of Acquisitions at Universal Pictures) and Jarod Neece (former Film Programmer and Event Producer at SXSW).
