Alamo Drafthouse Theaters has announced the return of their "Time Capsule" series for September and October, this time taking us back to 1979. Expect timeless classics like Mad Max, The Brood, Apocalypse Now, The Jerk, The Visitor, and Werner Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre. The series kicks off on August 30th with screenings of Apocalypse Now, followed by Mad Max on September 6th.

This September and October, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will hurtle back to 1979, a cinema year that saw the emergence of future filmmaking legends and epic tales that changed the way.
