An Taibhse heads to Newport Beach Film Festival for North American premiere

An Taibhse brings haunting visuals to the Newport Beach Film Festival on October 19th.

Back at FrightFest, we shared details about a remarkable Irish-language horror film from John Farrelly, An Taibhse (The Ghost). Touted as the first-ever Irish-language horror film, this claim initially seemed like a celebration of the Gaelic language. However, it appears there may be another film making a similar claim. Regardless of which came first, An Taibhse is excellently executed and visually stunning from start to finish. If you’re attending the Newport Beach Film Festival, be sure to add this festival gem to your schedule. An Taibhse will screen on October 19th at 8:15 p.m.
