BloodStream is expanding its international horror lineup with the arrival of Terror in the Andes (El Ucumar), the latest creature feature from Argentina, streaming exclusively beginning August 11.

Written and directed by Octavio Revol Molina, the film centers on one of South America’s most enduring cryptid legends, bringing the mythical Ucumar to life in a survival horror story set deep within Argentina’s remote wilderness.

The film stars Clara Kovacic, Nicolás Obregón, Gastón Palermo, Hilda Quipirolo, and Santiago Zapata.

Terror in the Andes follows a scientific expedition of biologists who venture into the isolated Argentine jungle in search of evidence that the legendary Ucumar exists. Their research quickly turns into a fight for survival when the creature proves to be far more than local folklore.

As the expedition pushes deeper into the wilderness, the team finds themselves hunted by the elusive beast, forcing them to abandon their mission and focus on escaping the deadly predator stalking them through the mountains and forest.

Octavio Revol Molina also serves as producer alongside Gastón Revol Molina and Melisa Giordano, continuing his work in independent Argentine genre filmmaking.
