Blood Star heads to Grimmfest (Plaion PIctures)
At HMU, we love seeing rare cars in action, especially in horror flicks. So, we were thrilled to spot Britini Camacho burning rubber in a 1973-78 Ford Mustang II in the trailer for Lawrence Jacomelli's "Blood Star". This cat-and-mouse thriller follows a woman on the run from a deranged sheriff while trying to escape her dark past. The film also stars John Schwab, Sydney Brumfield, Travis Lincoln Cox, Felix Merback, and Wyomi Reed. Blood Star will make its UK premiere at Grimmfest before hitting digital platforms on October 7th courtesy of Plaion PIctures.

In Blood Star, a young woman driving alone through the desert becomes trapped in a deadly game with a psychopathic sheriff. As the chase intensifies, she must rely on her street smarts to outwit her relentless pursuer.
Plaion PIctures is excited to announce that the gripping thriller, BLOOD STAR, will be coming to Grimmfest from 6th October where it will have its UK Premiere, before heading to all major digital platforms from 7th October.
This dark survival thriller is directed by Lawrence Jacomelli and stars Britni Camacho (I'm A Virgo) and John Schwab (Master of the Air). Additional cast include Sydney Brumfield, Travis Lincoln Cox, Felix Merback & Wyomi Reed.
A young pick-pocket is driving cross country back to her abusive boyfriend when she is targeted by a small-town Sheriff who shoots her off the road. A deadly game of cat-and-mouse ensues and she must use her street-smarts to survive.
Blood Star will have its UK Premiere at Grimmfest on 6th October (where the cast and director will be attending) and will be available on Digital Download from 7th October.
