Breeder will now arrive in theaters on October 28.

Breeder has a new theatrical release date. Independent Film Company and Shudder have shifted Alex Goyette’s horror film from its previously announced October 16 date to October 28.

The film follows an eccentric poodle breeder who lures a broke college student to her remote ranch with the promise of research funding. The offer, however, comes with a catch.

Goyette wrote and directed the 97-minute horror feature. Daniel Doheny, Dot-Marie Jones, Maddie Phillips, Tanaya Beatty and Paige McGarvin star.

The release-date change follows the arrival of Breeder’s official trailer and poster. The film will now open in theaters October 28, 2026.

Horror Movies Uncut will continue following Breeder as its theatrical release approaches.

The remote ranch setup sounds like a great fit for a horror story, especially with that strange research offer. I’ll keep an eye out for the October 28 release. space waves has also been my go-to when I want a quick challenge between movies.
