Today, Dark Sky Films released the latest trailer and poster for D.W. Medoff's new feature, "I Will Never Leave You Alone". This twisted narrative follows a mute prisoner, recently out on parole, who is hired by an ambitious and superstitious real estate agent to spend the night in a haunted house. The catch? If he leaves before the allotted time, he goes back to prison. It's a wild premise that has us eager to see I Will Never Leave You Alone.
The film stars Kenneth Trujillo, Katerina Eichenberger, Christopher Genovese, Emma Wedemeyer, Kimberly Maxwell, Katy Wilson, and Alex Parkinson. I Will Never Leave You Alone will be released by Dark Sky Films on October 18th. Check out the official poster and trailer, and let us know in the comments or on social media if you plan on watching!
Richard is a mute who is on parole from prison and has been released into the mandatory custody of a superstitious real estate investor who pays him to stay alone in a haunted house for six days to rid it of evil spirits. This is his chance to return to a normal life, but there’s a dark catch: if he fails to stay all six nights, the investor will send him back to prison.
Once on the isolated property, Richard finds a creepy, old doll that unleashes the evil spirit of a witch murdered on the property centuries ago. The witch haunts him and eventually tortures him using the painful memories that led him to prison. Pushed to his limit after a few days, he can’t leave or stay.
Unable to ask for help or even scream, Richard is trapped and alone, struggling to cope with haunting as it destroys his reality. There’s no telling what Richard will do if the witch-ghost fully invades his mind.

I just can't believe how crazy this Granny really is, it's honestly the most fun I've ever had, wow, yeah!"
I really appreciated the insights on “I Will Never Leave You Alone.” The emotional depth in the trailer reminded me of my own experiences navigating challenging relationships, much like mastering obstacles in Slope 2. Looking forward to more updates!
Really strong teaser — the isolation in those woods shots and that score give off serious I Will Never Leave You Alone vibes, in the best way. Dark Sky Films keeps picking interesting indie horror. I write about horror and gear over at wave rider and will definitely keep an eye on this one.
"The concept of a parolee being hired to spend the night in a haunted house is such a fresh twist on the trope. The trailer looks properly unsettling — I'll definitely be checking this out when it hits VOD in October."
