Fall 2: Deadpoint Raises the Stakes With New Teaser Trailer From the Spierig Brothers
The fear of heights returns this year as the first teaser trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint has officially arrived.
Following the success of the 2022 survival thriller Fall, the sequel looks to push its characters into even more extreme territory, trading isolated towers for the unpredictable landscapes of Thailand.
Directed by The Spierig Brothers and written by Jonathan Frank and Scott Mann, Fall 2: Deadpoint continues the franchise's focus on survival under impossible conditions. The new installment stars Harriet Slater, Arsema Thomas, and Tom Brittney.
The original Fall became a surprise genre hit by tapping into a universal fear of heights, placing two friends atop a massive communications tower with no easy way down. The concept resonated with audiences and quickly developed a dedicated following among thriller fans.
According to the official synopsis, Fall 2: Deadpoint follows two friends who take on a dangerous new climbing challenge in Thailand. Surrounded by unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide, the pair soon find themselves facing a fight for survival where every decision could prove fatal.
The newly released teaser wastes little time establishing the film's approach. Massive drops, towering cliffs, and nerve-rattling vertical landscapes dominate the footage, suggesting the sequel is doubling down on the franchise's signature blend of suspense, adrenaline, and survival horror.
While plot details remain largely under wraps, the teaser emphasizes the physical dangers of the environment and hints at challenges that extend beyond simply reaching the summit. The footage promises higher stakes, larger set pieces, and even more intense situations than those featured in the original film.
The project is produced by James Harris, Mark Lane, Scott Mann, David Haring, and Christian Mercuri, with Jonathan Frank and Scott Mann once again providing the story foundations for the franchise.
For fans of survival thrillers, the teaser suggests Fall 2: Deadpoint is aiming to build upon the anxiety-inducing formula that made the first film such a memorable experience.
Fall 2: Deadpoint is coming soon.
