Grimmfest 2025 Promo Trailer Drops Ahead of This Week’s Festival Launch

The Grimmfest 2025 promo trailer highlights new horror films ahead of the October 9–12 festival launch.
Grimmfest 2025 teases an explosive lineup of horror films and shorts in its new festival promo trailer.

From Good Boy to Rabbit Trap, Beast of War to Itch, and Open Wide to Frankie, Maniac Woman, we’ve been keeping a close eye on Grimmfest long before packing our bags for Austin and Fantastic Fest. Now, with the official trailer drop for the 2025 edition, it’s clear that Manchester’s premier genre showcase is once again delivering a lineup packed with blood, brains, and bold ideas.

Running October 9–12, Grimmfest 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting horror gatherings this fall. The newly released promo teases an eclectic slate of international features, short films, and fan favorites that continue to cement Grimmfest’s reputation as a true champion of independent and boundary-pushing genre cinema.

Festival highlights include Pierre Tsigaridis’s wild and bloody Frankie, Maniac Woman, Bari Kang’s viral horror Itch!, Tom Botchii’s moody suburban thriller Syphon, and the haunting psychological piece Incomplete Chairs. Add to that fresh titles like Squealers, The Driftless, The Other, and returning crowd favorites Beast of War, Good Boy, and Don’t Leave the Kids Alone, and you’ve got one hell of a lineup.

This year’s promo sets the tone—dark, stylish, and unapologetically strange. Grimmfest continues to be a proving ground for both veteran directors and up-and-coming genre voices who refuse to play it safe. Expect festival coverage, reactions, and interviews from us all weekend long as Horror Movies Uncut dives headfirst into another wave of bloody brilliance.

Grimmfest 2025 kicks off Thursday, October 9, and trust us—you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming next.

Watch the trailer now and let us know what you think in the comments.

Stay tuned for reviews, interviews, and daily festival updates all weekend.
