Uncork’d Entertainment is set to release Happy Halloween, a teen horror film written and directed by Brittney Greer, on April 14, 2026 across digital platforms.
The film centers on Hadley, played by Emma Reinagel, a teenager returning to her hometown after surviving a traumatic Halloween prank that went wrong. As she attempts to move forward, a series of murders begins to unfold in the community, with each killing broadcast across social media. As suspicion spreads, Hadley is pulled back into the events of her past while trying to identify who is responsible.
Happy Halloween positions itself within a familiar slasher framework, drawing on elements seen in films like Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, while incorporating a contemporary angle through its use of social media as part of the narrative. The structure leans into a whodunit format, with multiple potential suspects and an emphasis on uncovering hidden connections within a small-town setting.
The film was shot on location in the Ozarks and features a cast that includes Aline O’Neill, Cameron Mabie, Graham Weldin, and Jack Cathcart. Greer’s work here marks a continued step into the genre space, following the film’s appearances at festivals including Pigeon Shrine FrightFest and GASP! Horror Film Festival. It was later awarded Best Feature Film at the Berryville Film Festival.
Happy Halloween will be available digitally beginning April 14.
