DEADLY DEALINGS, a stylish, blood-soaked queer horror film, is arriving On Digital and On Demand August 20, 2024 via Wild Eye Releasing.
DEADLY DEALINGS stars indie scream queen Roni Jonah (Shark Exorcist, Volumes of Blood), Helene Udy (My Bloody Valentine, “Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman”), Conor McCarthy (Weredeer, Wetworks), Dixie Gers (Crazy Fat Ethel, Death Care), Adam Freeman (Truly Madly, Cannibal Hookers), and Stephen McGill (Reunion From Hell).
Mary is plagued by haunting visions of her brother, who tragically passed away. Desperate to reconnect with him, she reluctantly turns to a spirit board for answers. However, her attempt to communicate with him unleashes a malevolent entity that begins to torment her, invading both her dreams and waking life.
DEADLY DEALINGS was directed by Adam Freeman from a script he wrote alongside Dixie Gers and Jake Zelch. The filmmakers set out to immerse the audience in a surreal experience where a dream morphs into a nightmare. The team dedicated immense effort to give fans a unique twist on the horror genre, blending various supernatural influences with vibrant colors, blood, and glitter.
Fans of Suspiria and Blood & Black Lace will instantly recognize the homage to the vivid and haunting aesthetics of Italian Technicolor horror in this high concept, gorgeously shot 1980s neon horror tribute.
DEADLY DEALINGS is led by a powerful performance by Roni Jonah, an actress, director, and producer who has made significant contributions to the indie horror genre. Her career began in professional wrestling, which provided her with a unique platform to transition into the entertainment industry.
