The trailer for Frédéric Jardin’s upcoming action-packed natural disaster film, Survive, has arrived, and it’s a wild ride. The film stars Emilie Dequenne as Julia, who sets out with her husband and children on a seemingly innocent birthday boat trip—until disaster strikes. When a meteor crashes into the ocean, it obliterates their surroundings, setting off a desperate fight for survival.
As Julia and her family attempt to reach a submarine for safety, they face not only treacherous terrain and other desperate survivors but also bloodthirsty, mutated crabs on the hunt.
Survive promises high-stakes action, emotional depth, and a unique twist on the disaster genre. The film will be available on demand starting January 10th.

Samuel Goldwyn Films announced today the release date and trailer for SURVIVE, a French survival thriller starring Emilie Dequenne (CLOSE), Andreas Pietschmann (DARK), Lisa Delamar, Lucas Ebel, and Arben Bajraktaraj. SURVIVE is directed by Frédéric Jardin and written by Matt Alexander. The film will release in theaters and digital / on-demand on January 10, 2025.
It is produced by Marc Stanimirovic, Marc-Etienne Schwartz with Ludovic Naar as executive producer.
In SURVIVE, Julia and her loving husband celebrate their son’s birthday on their boat in the middle of the ocean. When a violent storm nearly capsizes them, the family awakes in a desert land. Earth has undergone a tragic polarity reversal, draining water from the oceans. The family must race to safety before the water returns all while battling hungry creatures from the abyss that hunt for fresh flesh.
"SURVIVE is a gripping adventure with high production value and a strong emotional core that has blown away audiences in Europe. We're confident that the U.S. will embrace this exceptional thrill ride." said Zach Martin, Goldwyn's head of marketing.
Samuel Goldwyn Films will release SURVIVE in theaters and on VOD in January.
The deal was negotiated by Miles Fineburg from Samuel Goldwyn Films and Gregory Chambet from WTFilms on behalf of WTFilms and Ginger & Fed (a Federation Studios entity) who co-handle international sales.
