Lionsgate Hosts Star-Studded Screening for ‘The Strangers – Chapter 2’ in Los Angeles

Lionsgate brought the terror back to Century City last night as they hosted a special screening of The Strangers – Chapter 2 at AMC Century City in Los Angeles. The second installment of director Renny Harlin’s new trilogy had plenty of blood, screams, and flashbulbs, with cast and crew stepping out to celebrate the film’s impending release.

Series lead Madelaine Petsch returned to the carpet, joined by co-stars Froy Gutierrez, Ema Horvath, and Brooke Lena Johnson, alongside director Renny Harlin and screenwriter Alan Freedland. Producers Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Gary Raskin, Alastair Burlingham, and Charlie Dombek were also in attendance.

The event also drew some unexpected guests from across the entertainment spectrum, including Tyrese Gibson, filmmaker Deon Taylor, beauty YouTuber Mykie, and rock legend Gene Simmons.

The Strangers – Chapter 2 picks up immediately after the events of Chapter 1, with Maya (Petsch) — the lone survivor of the masked murderers’ rampage — forced into a brutal game of survival that will change her forever. The new chapter promises more relentless violence, psychological unraveling, and a deeper look at how trauma transforms its victims into something… or someone… else.

The Strangers trilogy has become one of the more high-profile horror experiments in recent years, with Harlin filming all three chapters back-to-back. While Chapter 1 focused on tension-building and helpless isolation, Chapter 2 is rumored to be far more explosive, doubling down on action and desperation.
