Louis Mandylor’s Paralysis Arrives on Digital with a Revenge-Fueled Action Horror Story
Action and horror collide in Paralysis, the latest feature from Louis Mandylor, which is now available on Digital and On Demand from Uncork’d Entertainment.
Mandylor not only directs the film but also stars alongside Michael Copon (One Tree Hill, Power Rangers Time Force) and Peter Dobson (Forrest Gump). The screenplay comes from Niko Foster and Sophia Louisa.
Paralysis centers on a nurse whose quiet admiration for a respected doctor turns into a relentless quest for vengeance after his family is brutally murdered. Determined to bring those responsible to justice, she targets the gang behind the killings by using their own designer drug, known as “Paralysis,” against them.
The drug leaves its victims fully conscious but unable to move, allowing each gang member to witness their own fate as the nurse systematically carries out her revenge. The premise blends elements of vigilante thriller, action, and horror while using the film’s fictional narcotic as the centerpiece of its suspense.
Known for his work in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding franchise as well as numerous independent action films, Mandylor continues behind the camera with a story built around revenge, moral justice, and the consequences of violence.
With its mix of crime thriller and horror elements, Paralysis joins today’s growing lineup of independent genre releases arriving directly on digital platforms.
